Zoltify Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 August 2026
Welcome to Zoltify.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Zoltify online store and your purchase of products from us.
Zoltify is operated by an individual sole proprietor in South Africa. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, subject to your rights under applicable South African law.
These Terms are intended to comply with applicable South African legislation, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).
Nothing in these Terms limits, excludes or waives any consumer right that cannot legally be limited, excluded or waived.
1. Supplier Information
Zoltify is an online technology retailer operating in South Africa.
Trading Name: Zoltify
Legal Status: Sole Proprietor
Country: South Africa
Email: [INSERT YOUR SUPPORT EMAIL]
Telephone: [INSERT YOUR BUSINESS TELEPHONE NUMBER]
Physical Address: [INSERT YOUR PHYSICAL ADDRESS]
Website: [INSERT YOUR WEBSITE]
As Zoltify operates as a sole proprietorship, no company registration number is provided unless one is legally applicable to the business.
ECTA requires online suppliers to make specified supplier information available to consumers, including applicable contact and address information.
2. Definitions
For these Terms:
“Zoltify”, “we”, “us” or “our” means the sole proprietor operating the Zoltify business.
“Customer”, “you” or “your” means a person who visits our website or purchases a product from Zoltify.
“Products” means technology products and accessories offered for sale through our website.
“Website” means the Zoltify online store and related pages operated by us.
“Order” means a request submitted by a customer to purchase products through the Website.
3. Use of Our Website
You agree to use the Zoltify Website lawfully and responsibly.
You may not:
- Use the Website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Website;
- Provide false or misleading information;
- Attempt to disrupt the Website;
- Use automated systems to abuse the Website; or
- Copy or commercially exploit our original Website content without permission.
We may restrict access to the Website where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers or systems, subject to applicable law.
4. Products
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications and other information displayed on our Website are accurate.
Product images may vary slightly from the actual product due to factors such as:
- Screen settings;
- Lighting;
- Photography;
- Manufacturing variations; or
- Manufacturer updates.
Where product specifications are material to a purchase, we aim to provide the relevant information before checkout.
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights if a product is materially different from its description or otherwise fails to comply with applicable law.
5. Product Availability
Products are subject to availability.
If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you where reasonably possible and provide an appropriate solution.
If we cannot fulfil an order and a refund is required by law, we will process the applicable refund.
6. Prices
All prices on the Zoltify Website are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that displayed prices are accurate.
Prices may change from time to time. A price change will not retrospectively alter a completed transaction where applicable law prevents such a change.
Applicable delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
7. Pricing Errors
We take reasonable care when displaying prices and product information.
If an obvious pricing or typographical error is identified before an order has been accepted or fulfilled, we may contact you to explain the error and provide the available options, subject to applicable law.
We will not use an alleged pricing error to unfairly avoid our legal obligations.
8. Placing an Order
When you submit an order through our Website, you are requesting to purchase the selected products.
Before completing your order, you are responsible for checking that:
- Your name is correct;
- Your contact information is correct;
- Your delivery address is correct;
- Your selected products are correct; and
- Your order details are accurate.
You may receive an electronic order confirmation after submitting your order.
An order confirmation confirms that we have received your order. Where reasonably necessary, further verification may be required before processing the order.
9. Electronic Transactions
Zoltify conducts transactions electronically through our Shopify-powered online store.
We may communicate with you electronically regarding:
- Orders;
- Payments;
- Delivery;
- Returns;
- Refunds;
- Customer support; and
- Other matters relating to your purchase.
Electronic records and communications may be retained where reasonably necessary for business, legal or accounting purposes.
10. Payment
Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment providers, including Yoco, where available.
Your order may only be processed once payment has been successfully authorised.
Where payment details are processed directly by a third-party payment provider, Zoltify does not intentionally store complete payment-card information on its own systems.
If a payment is declined or cannot be verified, we may be unable to process the order until successful payment has been received.
11. Fraud Prevention
We may carry out reasonable checks to protect customers and Zoltify from fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.
If an order appears suspicious or cannot reasonably be verified, we may delay processing while conducting appropriate checks.
These procedures will not be used to unlawfully deny or restrict a consumer’s statutory rights.
12. Shipping and Delivery
Zoltify currently uses Aramex and other authorised delivery providers where necessary.
Estimated delivery times and shipping charges are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Where an incorrect or incomplete address causes a delivery problem, we may contact you to resolve the issue.
The use of a third-party courier does not remove your statutory consumer rights.
13. Delivery, Loss and Damage
Zoltify will take reasonable steps to ensure that products are appropriately packaged and dispatched.
Where applicable South African law places responsibility on Zoltify for loss, damage or defective goods, we will comply with those obligations.
Nothing in these Terms transfers statutory responsibility to the customer where the law places that responsibility on Zoltify.
14. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Your statutory consumer rights remain applicable.
Where qualifying goods are defective, unsafe or fail to meet applicable quality requirements, you may have statutory remedies under the CPA.
Nothing in these Terms removes or reduces those rights.
15. Electronic Transaction Cancellation Rights
Certain online transactions may be subject to cancellation rights under ECTA.
Where the statutory cooling-off provisions apply, a consumer may have the right to cancel the transaction within the applicable statutory period, subject to the exceptions and requirements contained in the legislation.
Certain transactions may be excluded from these cancellation rights, including certain personalised goods and other categories specified by law.
Where a statutory cancellation right applies, Zoltify will process the cancellation and applicable refund in accordance with the law.
16. Consumer Protection
Zoltify respects the rights granted to consumers under South African law.
We will not intentionally use contractual terms that are unfair, unreasonable or unjust.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to:
- Exclude mandatory consumer rights;
- Waive rights that cannot legally be waived;
- Exclude liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law; or
- Mislead consumers about their legal rights.
Where these Terms conflict with a mandatory provision of South African law, the applicable law will prevail.
17. Product Quality and Safety
Zoltify aims to supply products that meet applicable quality and safety requirements.
Consumers have statutory rights relating to goods that are:
- Defective;
- Unsafe;
- Of unacceptable quality;
- Not fit for their intended purpose; or
- Materially different from what was agreed or described.
These rights are not excluded by these Terms.
Customers should use products in accordance with applicable manufacturer instructions and safety information.
18. Manufacturer Warranties
Some products may include a manufacturer’s warranty in addition to statutory consumer protections.
Where a manufacturer’s warranty applies, relevant information may be provided on the product page, packaging or documentation supplied with the product.
A manufacturer’s warranty does not replace or reduce any mandatory statutory consumer rights.
19. Promotions and Discounts
Zoltify may offer:
- Discount codes;
- Promotional pricing;
- Bundles;
- Free-shipping promotions;
- Limited-time offers; and
- Other promotional campaigns.
Promotions may have specific terms, including:
- Minimum order values;
- Expiry dates;
- Eligible products;
- Quantity limits;
- Discount limits; or
- Shipping conditions.
Applicable promotional terms will be communicated to customers.
Promotions will not be administered in a manner that is misleading or inconsistent with applicable consumer protection law.
20. Discount Codes
Unless otherwise stated, discount codes:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash;
- May have an expiry date;
- May apply only to selected products;
- May be subject to minimum purchase requirements; and
- May not necessarily be combined with other promotional codes.
Specific conditions displayed with a discount code will apply.
These conditions do not limit statutory consumer rights.
21. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, original Zoltify content on our Website, including:
- The Zoltify name and logo;
- Original graphics;
- Website design;
- Product descriptions created by us;
- Text;
- Photographs;
- Videos; and
- Other original materials
are owned by or licensed to Zoltify.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit our original content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and product names remain the property of their respective owners.
22. Customer Reviews and Submitted Content
If you voluntarily submit a review, photograph, comment or other content to Zoltify, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content.
You must not submit content that:
- Is fraudulent or intentionally misleading;
- Infringes another person’s rights;
- Contains unlawful material;
- Contains malicious software; or
- Is otherwise unlawful.
Zoltify may moderate or remove content that violates these requirements, subject to applicable law.
23. Third-Party Services
Our Website relies on third-party services to operate our business.
These may include:
- Shopify;
- Yoco;
- Aramex;
- Meta;
- Analytics providers; and
- Other technology and business service providers.
Third-party providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
The use of third-party service providers does not remove Zoltify’s legal obligations to consumers.
24. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains how Zoltify collects, uses, stores and protects personal information.
Zoltify aims to process personal information in accordance with applicable South African privacy legislation, including the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
25. Website Availability
We aim to keep our Website available and functioning properly.
However, temporary interruptions may occur due to:
- Website maintenance;
- Technical problems;
- Hosting issues;
- Cybersecurity incidents;
- Third-party service interruptions; or
- Other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services.
26. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where South African law prohibits such exclusion or limitation.
To the extent permitted by law, Zoltify will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This clause does not limit statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe or non-conforming products.
Zoltify does not exclude liability for conduct where such exclusion would be unlawful.
27. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
Zoltify will not be responsible for unreasonable delays caused by extraordinary circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control, including certain:
- Natural disasters;
- Major infrastructure failures;
- Widespread telecommunications outages;
- Government restrictions;
- Civil emergencies; or
- Significant courier disruptions.
This does not remove statutory consumer rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:
- Our business;
- Products;
- Services;
- Technology;
- Applicable legislation; or
- Business practices.
The latest version will be published on our Website with the applicable effective date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that a consumer has already acquired under applicable law.
29. Complaints
If you have a complaint about an order, product, delivery, payment or service, please contact Zoltify first so that we have an opportunity to resolve the matter.
Please provide:
- Your name;
- Order number;
- Contact information; and
- Details of your complaint.
We will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints fairly and promptly.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, consumers may have access to applicable South African consumer dispute-resolution mechanisms.
30. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Any dispute will be dealt with in accordance with applicable South African law and subject to any mandatory consumer rights or dispute-resolution mechanisms available to consumers.
31. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or amended to the extent reasonably necessary to make it lawful where legally possible.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
32. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the following policies, form the principal terms governing purchases from Zoltify:
- Privacy Policy
- Returns & Refund Policy
- Shipping & Delivery Policy
Product-specific terms and promotional terms may also apply where communicated to the customer.
Nothing in this section overrides mandatory rights under South African law.

- Remove a consumer’s statutory rights;
- Waive rights that cannot legally be waived;
- Exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded;
- Mislead consumers about their legal rights; or
- Create an unfair, unreasonable or unjust contractual term.
Where South African legislation provides a consumer with a greater protection than these Terms, the applicable legislation will prevail.
